I finally had some time to lay down some paint on the rims. Just a couple more coats on the face of the rims and they will be good to go. If I could just get some nice weather
Wheel Prep
After 3 hours of washing, scrubbing, 800 grit sanding, washing, & wiping…
The new wheels are prepped for paint… All I have to do is wipe them down with acetone and I’m good to go 🙂
Works Rims are Ruined
After 6 hours of driving today I picked up a new set of wheels from YZ86 for the Scooby. My Works rim ended up getting split and I’m looking at least at 3+ months to order a replacement 😦
So YZ’s 18×9.5 +35 Rota P45R’s will be finding their way onto my widebody. I’ll end up painting them bronze… Here is a pic of them from a meet a couple years back… White rims beside my car
